Was alright
Good flavor but could be more spicier. Taste was alright but it was a bit average . Most of the sauces in NZ are not very spicy and I am used to having spicy food so I have to search for food that will provide that

Baked beans Peri-Peri flavour
We love Wattie's baked beans in our household and so I was excited to try a new flavour! I wasn't sure what to expect from periperi baked beans, but it was a yummy addition to our usual favourites. We had ours on toast for breakfast, and would definitely recommend! I'm keen to try out any other baked beans flavours Watties has now too.

Really a game changer
We tried this with shredded bread and bacon pieces. Butter, garlic and bread on the pan add the peri peri beans and bacon. It is a game changer. Liked much more than any. Thanks

Really tasty!
These were delicious and a quick and easy lunch idea on toast. The extra spice made them really good and they not too hot as the name might suggest. Will buy again!

Watties Peri Peri Beanz
Great product, we used to use normal baked beans when making one of our dishes, we tried the Peri peri beans in this dish and it made an amazing difference, giving it a little bit of bite and extra flavor, definitely be using it again.

Tasty!
I love regular baked beans, so I was a little hesitant to try the peri peri flavoured baked beans, but they didn't disappoint! They really added a little something extra to my beans on toast.

Beans with spice = very nice!
We had the beans with eggs as suggested/pictured on the tin, and it was delish! It made a great breakfast for hubby and I before a busy day of the summer school holidays, taking kids to pools and keeping them busy. The beans had a good amount of spice to tingle the taste buds but not overwhelmingly so.

Not normally a fan of baked beans, but was pleasantly surprised by these. Quite a mild periperi flavor, but enough to add a little extra flavor to the standard beans. Great on toast for breakfast.

Nice and tasty
Really tasty, lovely thick sauce. Beans were just the right amount of bite. Too spicy for breakfast , but would be nice on a jacket potato or as a side for Mexican food

Sweet, but full of flavour
We tried the Watties Peri-peri as a side dish to accompany our usual veggie & meat dinner, and it was a good surprise. For me, it's a bit too sweet, but I could feel the spicy flavour. However, my husband said it was not spicy or sweet.

Still Too Sweet
I always find Wattie's beans too sweet so had hoped these would be a bit different. The peri-peri flavour was nice, but still didn't mask the sweetness. I did like the mid-sized can though!

Great for nachos!
I had some leftover CCs and Sour cream so for a quick snack I placed the chips down first, the Watties bean Periperi next…45 seconds in the microwave and topped with sour cream! It smelt like Nachos and it was delicious, more tasty than some Nachos I’ve paid good money for in the past. The periperi hit isn’t overbearing but it definitely lingers on the tastebuds. This will be my new, go to quick and easy snack food. I’ll definitely be stocking the cupboards with a few of these tins!
