Would recommend!

I’m actually really shocked at how simple this unit was to setup. All you need is 2 outlets. That’s all! You only need to set up your wifi if you want to stream it to your phone. I love that it is small enough for traveling as well. Only thing that would make me like it more was if it also came with USB plug as an alternative to the wall outlet.

Poor quality

This unit feels very cheap like a toy. It was very hard to pair and stay connected. The monitor is too small to see what is happening in the room

V tech camera

I have had v tech products in the past, this camera Is small and and compact for a monitor and a camera. I think the product would work perfectly for travel or even camping! If your looking for a small compact product's I think this is the one for you. Works perfect and had all the features you would need to keep an eye on your little ones.

Great product

I have been testing out the vtech 2.8" smart wifi video monitor for 2 weeks now. I have to say i love it so far. I love that it has the live remote access feature that i can use on the go or when i am out of the country. It give me a peace of mind.

Great monitor

I enjoyed using this monitor. It has loud lots of features to help the baby sleep. It plays soothing music that I can control from the monitor. The image is clear and sound as well.

Hard time connecting

I had a hard time connecting the product, it was really hard trying to connect everything. After I finally got it all connected it seemed to work okay. But from a first time parent perspective they didnt make it easy connecting it!

I LOVE it!

The unit is easy to install and operate. I like the image quality, both day and night. The wide angle is very practical, and it's the mode I use all the time. The sound is good. I've tried the nightlight and the rocking music, which are practical, but I haven't needed them. The connection is good and the wifi mode proves indispensable in big houses and long distances. I can now stay in the garden without worrying about the baby crying without being able to hear him... Overall, I really like this product and I've been using it full-time since I got it.

Love this monitor!

I absolutely love this monitor, thank you hometester club and vtech! It was really easy to set up, the instructions are very straight forward. There's Bluetooth capability as well which is a cool feature, and easy to use as well! It also has a multi colour night light and other features, i only wish the screen was slightly bigger.

Great, love it!

It is very easy to set up once you read and follow the instructions. I love that I can also see my little one on my phone. This is a great improvement from my former VTech baby monitor. I love it.

Useful product !!

I recently received the VTech baby monitor and it was such a blessing. We are living away from friends and family, so the monitor has greatly helped when I'm home alone with my 6 y.o and the little baby. Now I can know exactly when my baby wakes up without being distracted from quality time with my daughter.

Good camera

Great sound and camera, night vision is good too. It has Easy installation. Sometimes it won't connect to WiFi. It has talk back option with soothing sounds and lullabies. Recommend this product.

Awesome camera!

Overall, I was very happy with this product. Here are my thoughts after using it and comparing it to the previous monitor I have used. I love how you can view the camera both on the parent console and via app on your phone. One thing to note is that the picture is larger on your phone. You can see more in the room than compared to the parent console. For this reason I would lean towards using the app. Though, I am still researching about making sure the wifi app connections are secure. I find the parent console quite small, though it does the job. One small thing that I would change is the left and right dials on the console. I wish they had a true up, down, left, right control. Due to this it took me longer than I would like to connect to the wifi. Overall, I love the product and would recommend it. Especially because of the aspect that there is the option of a parent console and/or viewing the camera on your phone via app.

It's Exactly What I Needed

I recently received and tested the vtech 2.8" Smart Wi-fi Baby Monitor, I don't necessarily have anything bad to say about this product but it is a basic monitor with a great app. It was really easy to setup. It took about 15 minutes and I am not a techy at all. The 2.8" screen is quite small and shows only a small portion of what the camera actually sees. Once you have signed up for the app, you see a whole lot more. It also picks up on the sound in the room, which may be good or bad depending on the room. I have it set up in my living room because I wanted this product to keep an eye on my rescue dogs while I am at work. I love that it has a 2-way radio so I can actually talk to them even when I am at work. It is pretty entertaining to watch them try to figure out where I am ! I also appreciate that the actually camera has a long cord. I currently have it setting on the top of my tall cabinet looking down at my living room and the cord stretches all the way down to the floor.
