Does the job
I wanted to love this product more than I do. Whilst it does remove makeup effectively it’s definitely only usable as part of a double cleanse. As it’s very slimy feeling on the face after being washed off compared to another balm I have and oil. Whilst I will continue to use it, I probably wouldn’t repurchase as I do prefer other products that don’t leave that residue. However I did like it doesn’t irrate my eyes when washing eye makeup. So whilst effective you definitely need to double cleanse which if you do anyways it wouldn’t be an issue.

so impressed!!
Wow I was a little skeptical, but this product is pretty good. Firstly, I like that it's scentless and the feel it left my skin feeling was really nice. It removes face makeup really nicely and not a lot of rubbing is required! The reason it's not a 5 star is because when it came to the eyes, I felt that although my mascara all came off, it took a bit more rubbing and it left my eyes irritated

Too Oily needs 2nd cleanser
Yes this works really well to remove make up even the stubborn waterproof mascara. However it does not fully wash off and leaves an oily residue behind. I have to go in with a 2nd cleanser to fully remove, which is abit of an inconvenience if in a rush or when you come home late and just want to get to bed quickly! Would I buy this product again? Unfortunately not.

My new favourite
I have the opportunity to test out this new Mecca cleansing balm and I'm in love! It not only removes my makeup flawlessly but also leaves my skin feeling amazing! It's now got a permanent position in my daily shower routine!

Must double cleanse
This is good for melting make up off, even waterproof mascara but it seems to leave a oily feeling on the skin so required me to go in with a second cleanser which isn't always convenient if I'm in a rush

Too oily
Does it work, essentially yes but if you’re not used to double cleansing, don’t wear a lot of makeup or heavy spf during the day then you might find it pointless. A bit tricky to emulsify if you’re not used to similar products. Overall, Its nothing revolutionary and for $28 rrp you can definitely find a cheaper and probably more effective alternative to this product. Will I continue to use up, yes. Would I repurchase it, no.

Too oily
Unfortunately this product isn’t great. It’s like rubbing candle wax on your face. Yes, it does remove makeup, but then I need to double cleanse to get the oil off. I found it didn’t remove mascara particularly well. Also, I found it only worked when I had warm or damp hands. Using cold dry hands to rub the product together didn’t work. I wouldn’t recommend this product and prefer to use makeup remover wipes

Good makeup remover
This product does a really great job removing makeup. However, personally for me I found the product to be quite thick and even after you washed it off, it felt like I could still feel it on my skin.

Average
Product works great when wearing minimal make up however when wear full face of make up can be hard to remove. I found had to use product twice to remove the make up completely. Found it didn’t work great with removing mascara. Found product very thick

Good at removing makeup
Overall, this cleansing balm works well. I like that it takes off my makeup and leaves it nourished, not too rough. However, once 'removed' I use micellar water over the top and a bit more makeup still comes off so it's not 100% effective. I also don't love the smell, not terrible but not great.

Gentle but effective!
I really like this product because not only does it remove makeup, it gets rid of that greasy sunscreen feeling on your skin after a long day. It feels really gentle and delicate but it’s tough on getting rid of that oily residue. As someone who wears sunscreen everyday, I need a gentle remover that won’t totally dry out my skin. It smells great too. I am really impressed with this product! It leaves my skin feeling so hydrated afterwards, unlike other cleansers that dry my skin out. It’s so velvety going onto your skin, I swear it feels like a facial!

Mecca Melt Down
The Mecca Melt Down balm is very thick and oily, it is almost like rubbing Vaseline over your face. I found it worked to remove foundation and such products, however, it did not fully remove waterproof mascara as the package suggests. Even after cleansing as suggested, the product left my face feeling oily. Personally, I did not like how this product made my skin feel.

Excellent make up remover
A silky consistency, feels like velvet on your face. It’s easy to apply and rinse. It leaves my face feeling quite moisturized unlike other makeup removers.

Great Cleansing Option
Great product that feels soft on skin and removes makeup as required. Felt good amount of foam and really liked the feel of the balm on my face. I would recommend this product to others to use
