Overall the soup was quite good, there was sufficient meat & vegetables, if you like something with a bit of kick this is the soup for you.
Would be a great meal choice in winter to go along with some bread. Nice and filling. A solid meal choice that’s both hearty and tasty.
We tested this tasty product camping and will probably take again, we purchased two cans and tested separately as my husband wanted to get creative, he added his to his camp fire stew and the added flavour was just fantastic. You must try.
In saying that it was a nice tasty quick dinner on our first night with a crusty bread roll. Can definitely recommend this product
This soup is a perfect for a hearty lunch with a good amount of vegetables and meat to keep you full. The flavour was very pepper heavy which I liked but may not be for everyone.

Good Soup
I have enjoyed the pepper stake flavour. Makes for an easy hearty lunch or dinner. The meat and vegetables were tender and the flavour was tasty. I would recommend this soup and will buy a few more for the cupboard.

Strong on flavour
When first opened i wasn't a fan of the texture and the way it looked was a weird jelly and reminded me of dog food but After heating it was quite nice, very strong pepper beef taste and had a nice aroma.
This would be great to have on hand for quick lunches or dinners

Not as good as I hoped
From the first mouthful to the last mouthful, there was a lack of flavour. The peppery after taste was strong but I only came across 1 piece of steak in the whole meal and the chunky vegies were ordinary. I was hoping for a soup that resembled a home cooked meal, but I was quickly reminded of it being from a can.

As expected
This really does taste just like you'd expect a canned soup to taste.
This is a very thick soup, almost like a stew that's been boiled for a long time on the stove, but I wouldn't call it chunky - there are pieces of steak and veg throughout but they aren't "chunky"
This tasted overall pretty good for a canned soup, I boiled mine on the stove - it did look very brown and sludgy, but tasted lovely and had a rich texture.
I am not the biggest fan of chunky soups but this soup was actually quite nice.
Being a peppered soup I was expecting not to be able to eat much as pepper normally burns my mouth but I ate the whole thing. In my opinion being a peppered soup I would have expected it to be a-lot more peppery than it was. I would definitely recommend on the basis that the pepper is not very strong.
It doesn’t look very appealing but it has a-lot of flavoured as advertised and the steak falls apart your mouth.
Overall it is edible, flavourful and melts in the mouth.

Hearty soup
Using pepper steak soup as a pie filler was an absolute game-changer! The rich, savory flavors, tender beef, and bold peppery kick translated perfectly into a hearty, comforting pie. The soup’s thick consistency worked well, holding up nicely inside a flaky, golden crust, while the deep umami notes created a perfect balance of texture and taste. Every bite was packed with juicy, flavorful beef and a deliciously seasoned gravy that made the pie irresistibly moreish. Quick, easy, and incredibly satisfying, this is a must-try for anyone looking for a simple yet impressive pie filling!
The Picture on the packaging not very attractive.
Tasted ok but a bit too intense for my liking.
The texture was ok , nothing exceptional.
I find this product average and unfortunately I would not eat it again.

Tasty and filling
This soup was very tasty and not over powered by pepper. The sauce was thick and the meat and vegetables in it were well balanced not more of one than the other. My husband said he would like to see some actual peppercorns in the soup. We paired it with some toast but would be filling on it's own.

Easy meal
Easy to prepare and perfect for a winter snack when you don't want to cook. Looks much more appetising once heated up.

Nice Peppery flavour
Heinz Big and Chunky Pepper Steak Soup lives up to its name, offering a truly chunky experience. The soup is filled with plenty of vegetables, which adds great texture and flavor. However, I did find that the steak was a bit sparse—there wasn’t much visible steak in the mix. That said, the soup still packs a great punch with its peppery flavor, which is bold but not overpowering—you wouldn’t want it any stronger. It has just the right level of saltiness, so you can easily adjust it to your taste if you prefer more.
I could also imagine this making a fantastic pie filling for a quick lunch for two people. While I really enjoyed it, my 10-year-old wasn’t too keen, so it seems like more of an adult-friendly meal. Despite that, I’ll definitely be keeping a can handy in my pantry for those days when I want something hearty and satisfying without much fuss.
This is such a good go-to meal for those nights where you are short on time or on a cosy winter night. Pair it with some crusty bread and you have yourself the perfect easy dinner.
