One of the best protein bars I’ve tasted
This was my first time trying any TRUBAR products so I was skeptical about whether they would actually taste good. To be honest I am usually very disappointed by most protein bars I’ve tried so I didn’t have high hopes… However, I was pleasantly surprised by just how tasty these It’s Mint To Be Chip bars were! They didn’t have that weird aftertaste many protein bars have which was a big bonus! My kids even tried them and they liked them too! No, they don’t taste as sweet as a candy bar but they are a good substitute for a candy bar when you are trying to eat healthier and add more protein to your diet. It’s even more surprising that this bars are plant based, gluten free, dairy free, and have only 190 calories! Best of all they contain 12 grams of protein and 11 grams of fiber! I cannot wait to try all the other flavors available!!

Minty Protein
The mint flavor is perfectly balanced—not too overpowering—and the chocolate chips add a nice crunch. It's not overly sweet, which I really appreciate, and the texture is soft but not too chewy. Plus, it has a good amount of protein, making it a satisfying snack after a workout.

Good meal replacement
This is a good meal replacement but overall I was wanting a healthier option. For me, I'm trying to lose weight, so I was let down by the amount of calories (190) in one bar. I did like the healthy alternatives in this bar compared to other bars I've tried. The other negative was that there's 11g of fiber so you may encounter some gastro effects if your body isn't used to that much fiber intake. The taste was good, kind of like a peppermint patty with more chocolate. I was expecting it to be closer to mint chocolate chip ice cream flavor with the image on the packaging.

Surprisingly delicious
These plant based protein bars by Trubar are absolutely delicious! They taste so good, you'll forget it's a protein bar. The best part about them is they're free from harmful chemicals so you feel good about eating them. Love to eat them on the go or for a post workout snack. I can't wait to try their other flavors and will continue buying them over and over again.

Not green as the picture
It is a good post-workout snack or midday pick-me-up. However, it has sugar. It's actually not at all like it looks on the picture. The mint flavor is nice. It is tasty but too sugary for me. Seems more like a chocolate bar.

Not a fan of the texture or flavor
Was definitely not a huge fan of the flavor, it seemed like the pea protein was a little overwhelming? I was excited about the gluten free nature of the bars, but unfortunately I just can't recommend these.

Good for you and tastes like desert
I have tried SO MANY different kinds of bars, all claiming to be delicious and healthy, but they all ended up tasting chalky, too chewy, tasteless, or even worse…until now. This TruBar chocolate mint protein bar literally tastes like a chocolate brownie, only here’s the kicker, it’s full of protein and fiber and free of all the bad stuff. It kept me from crashing in the afternoon, and I even ate one for lunch and didn’t need a snack later in the day. The consistency is the perfect amount of chewy, chocolatey, delicious goodness. I already went online to see if I could order more of them, because I don’t ever want to be without them in my pantry. Try one, you won’t be disappointed!

Very chocolate
I was so excited to taste this product thinking it would be like a Girl Scout cookie. The chocolate was too much for me. It was very fudgy like. I was not big for the texture, but I do love the benefits behind them! I would love to try a different flavor maybe the chocolate was too much
