Meh it’s ok
I received the retractable clothesline and used it but it wasn’t really my cup of tea. I’m used to using a clothesline that’s outside so this was a little weird for me. I also didn’t care for the fact that I had to bolt it to my wall and it was a bit of an eye sore. I personally wouldn’t use this again it just didn’t work out well for me

Could Be Better
I thought this retractable clothesline was a great idea to have in my laundry room, especially since it can easily be retracted when not in use. Unfortunately, I thought the line needed to be longer and more weight-bearing (11 pounds is the suggested maximum, but wet clothes weigh a lot). The maximum length of the line is 8 feet, but can be used at any shorter length too because the line can be "locked" in a specific length by loosening or tightening the knob. I think this would be most useful in a small space where you only need to hang a garment or two at a time.

Nice Product, Used in the laundry room, works great !! The string quality is good and it retraces itself very well. So far no issues using it.

Retractable Clothesline
I have a small laundry room and no shelf above my washer and dryer so this retractable clothesline was installed above it to help with space. I do alot of screen printing and I always need somewhere to hang items from clothing to drying film. It does droop, depending on what you are hanging, so I'd go a little higher. Installing with the provided anchors, it is not going to come out of the wall. Installation was not hard.

Okay oroduct
This was an okay product it was good the first couple of days but then it started falling down it’s not to reliable to hang wet cloths I wouldn’t buy this or really recommend it I would probably use it to hang light shirts or songs anything else the sting hangs

Gets the job done
I like this, it’s a cleaner look that a stand would be, I just didn’t like the finish of it. It’s chrome and looks cheap, but I mean I can’t complain. I would stay I think I’d prefer a sturdier clothes line.

Works great!
Great addition to my apartment. Works great, easy to use. I was able to set it up quickly. It’s made out of a high quality material and was easy to use. I would recommend it to anyone.

It’s OK
It does the job, but it seems like the string is catching when I pull it out. I loosen the round part all the way, but there seems to be some resistance when pulling. It works well otherwise.

Great concept not strong enough
Seemed great. Went to hang clothes on it and it didn’t hold up too well. Would be better if it held more weight. This was a great idea at first, especially when we don’t have a shelf for clothing above washer and dryer. However, didn’t hold too many things.

So easy to install!
This retractable clothes line was so easy to install and use in our laundry room! It’s convenient for smaller areas and smaller items that need to hang or line dry. I was able to hang three items at once on the line and did not notice any sagging. (Our laundry room isn’t wide, and three shirts is all that would fit the space I had). The line is sturdy and reliable and when not in use tucks away neatly.

Hard to Install
The Mainstays Retractable Clothesline is a handy tool to have for outdoor drying of laundry. I was excited to receive an outdoor drye, as sun dried clothes smell so good. However, I attempted to install it and could not the back piece and the screw would not fit in properly. The silver looks cheap as well and I doubt it would hold up in the elements for longer than a year or two before it became a rusty eye sore. The slack on the line is also very loose.

Small and compact alternative for drying
I have a large flimsy drying rack for clothes and it hardly supports my clothes along with constant falling over. Moreover it occupies a large closet space which I can use to store my clothes properly. This wonderful small closthesline solves all of those problem efficeintly. The clothes line is quite durable and easy to use. It is also very compact that one can carry to other places like camping, relatives place etc. I am very happy with the cloethesline and going to recommend to my family members as well.

Dries my clothes well
It took some time to install but when it was installed, it held up my clothes well for a long time until it dried. It retracts well and does its job.
