Best slicer around
I have tried several different mandolins and this one is hands down the best. It is extremely sharp, but very sturdy and simple to use.

EASY TO USE
This is a great tool for slicing fruits and vegetables quickly and evenly. It has a sturdy, upright design that makes it easy to use, and the adjustable settings let you choose different thicknesses. The blades are super sharp and create clean cuts, perfect for salads, fries, or garnishes. Plus, the safety features, like the hand guard, help protect your fingers which I like .

Nice cut
I've only used this a few times but it works very well. The blades are nice and sharp, the design is user friendly and it stores quite compactly. I'm looking forward to using it frequently.

Be careful...sharp
I liked this mandolin to be able to easily slice up vegetables and fruits. It has a stand to make it easier to hold and steady while slicing. Cuts in uniform slices and is easy to clean. However, be very careful. It is sharp and will slice you if using it wrong. I made the mistake once and learned.

slicing perfection
A main staple in my kitchen. The Cuisinart mandoline slices with ease and precision, with various thickness options. It can slice or julienne, even or wavy cuts. There are multiple cutting options, with precise settings to choose from. The stainless steel blade is sharp and cuts smoothly. For safety— do be careful! I use a cut proof glove for security as there have been a couple times where my hand has gotten too close to the blade while I was slicing away. The included holder is helpful as well— use that to guide your door so that your hand is clear. This is a great mandoline. It works wonderfully for both soft and harder fruits and veggies. It’s durable, cleans easily, and it’s dishwasher safe too. This is so much faster than cutting with a knife, and it guarantees even slices for even cooking!

Save your fingers!
I had a horrible experience witht the original version of the slicer. My aunt has this and it makes life so much easier. The kids can even help!

Pretty good
My husband bought this and it was complicated putting together. We tried using it but it didn't slice as well as we'd hoped it would. The one thing I liked is that there's a tray to catch whatever you're slicing. There was never any mess.

Great Mandoline
I was hesitant on whether to purchase this mandoline, not knowing if it would be different than my current, flimsy, almost nonfunctional mandoline. Boy was I surprised! What a difference.... Cuisinart's mandoline stays put on the counter and slices with minimal effort. My veggies are cut clean and uniformly or I can even julienne them. Highly recommend this product.

Love the slicer
My husband like home made chips rather than the pre made chips from the supermarket. It slices like a glove, easy to store and wash. You get different settings to adjust the thickness of potato chips and also can be used to make thinner juvenile, easy to make French fries using this. Love the product overall.

life saver
this thing is a life saver and a huge time saver when you have a huge house hold that you cook for daily it makes prep time so much faster and i could not imagine life with out this thing in my kitchen!!!!!

Great and Safe Mandoline
I have always wanted a mandolin, but was always afraid to use one because of the horror stories you see and hear about the injuries people manage to get using them. This product from Cuisinart is awesome because it removes the danger without sacrificing quality. You can easily slice anything and not hurt yourself. It's easy to put together, use and clean. I also love that it us upright so you aren't hunching over. It's amazing!
