I absolutely love the Biore Charcoal Face Wash! It has a refreshing, deep-cleaning feel that really helps clear out my pores without being too harsh on my skin. After using it, my face feels super clean and smooth, and I love how it keeps my skin feeling fresh all day! Plus, the charcoal helps with controlling oil and minimizing blackheads. Definitely a must-have in my skincare routine!
This charcoal face wash is a wonderful addition to my skincare routine. It has a pleasant, mild scent that isn’t overwhelming. The texture is smooth and easy to apply, making it comfortable to use daily. Its cleansing power is impressive, effectively removing impurities and leaving my skin feeling fresh and clean without being harsh.

Charcoal cleanser
Because I have very oily skin, this cleanser really helps by using charcoal to soak up and eliminate any oil on my face, while giving my skin a good thorough cleansing. It also contains salicylic acid which makes it a good acne fighter. My face feels clean and soft afterwards and ready to face the world!
I like it for its ability to absorb impurities and excess oil from the skin, helping to clear clogged pores and reduce acne. This active ingredient helps to exfoliate the skin, unclog pores, and reduce acne. It's a common and effective treatment for acne-prone skin.
I really like this product. In my experience it worked well for cleaning my face and not leaving it dry and irritated like some of the other different types and brands I have used in the past. I really like using Charcoal products like this one, I feel that it leaves my skin feeling and looking cleaner, more refreshed and not dry and rubbery.
One of my favorite face washes! I have slightly sensitive, oily skin and this does a great job at cleansing my face. It has never caused any breakouts or reactions while using.
Recommend for oily/combination skin types
This cleanser is an okay drugstore skincare product. It's cooling and leaves your face feeling "smooth" and clean, but I didn't see much of a difference. I've never tried charcoal cleansers before.
I love this product. My face feels so clean and refresh after using this product. I have been using this for quite a while now and would suggest it to anyone. it doesn't dry out my skin either

Good product
I’ve tried several of these cleaners and I love this one! I have a really pokey face and this helps control the oil. I also have a problem with blackheads and this seems to help prevent more. I’m always looking for products that help with oil and blackheads, also large pores. It’s my biggest concern and I’m super pleased. Also smells good.

Does not do what it says it's going to do. I expected minimal results and I got zero results. It cleaners your face, but it doesn't fight against breakouts. At least it never helped me. I bought it because Biore was always a good product. This one just didn't do it for me.
I liked this product when I first tried it since previously I had been using cetaphil and did not like it. I’ve since switched to laroche posay and find it works better. I still use this biore for my body and find it works well enough for that.

Maybe I'm just too sensitive
I have extremely sensitive skin. It is nearly impossible to find a skincare product that will work and continue working long term.
I used Bioré Charcoal Acne Clearing Cleanser for about 2 weeks. Initially, it worked great. My face started to clear. I do not have a great amount of acne. But I do have breakouts far too often.
Over time my skin began to burn and feel as though it had become too dry. My breakouts increased and there were additional dry patches widespread. I kept using it for a few more days. I switched from washing my face twice a day to only once a day.
I may have had a sensitivity to one or more of the ingredients. Or maybe my skin is just too sensitive.
Not a horrible product. It does work for others I've spoken to.
