Healthy weight, healthy dog
I purchase a few different flavours of the Adavance wet dog food range for my 16 year old mini fox terrier. Being elderly, it's important to keep my dogs weight under control, so the Advance healthy weight dog food is perfect.

Nutrition sans calories
A great Aussie made, nutritional, lower caloric dog food for our less active fur babies. Our dog Molly loves it & scoffed it off without any worries. To her, it's just food to be consumed, but for me, I know it won't add to her weight issues & she is still getting the correct nutritional vitamins & minerals.

Bland but the dog ate it.
While my dog enjoyed this wet dog food, I don't think I'd buy it again as it looked quite bland. My dog doesn't get tinned food very often but I'm used to seeing some bits of meat and veg that I can identify. I couldn't really tell what anything was in the Advance wet food.

BOTH OUR DOGS DIDN'T LIKE THIS
On opening can, expected to see chunks of chicken, sadly, NO SIGN OF CHICKEN. The rice grains appeared to be barely cooked, the centres were transparent not white. Our 18 month old Bull Terrier bitch took one bite, spat it out and refused to eat it. Our 13 year old Husky (who is missing some teeth) was a little more favourable of this product, but was still reluctant to finish his meal. We make our own rice mix, so they are familiar with this texture, so we don't consider that an issue. Like the dry food, no salt content was listed, which is something those of us in the northern, hotter areas try to keep an eye on with our dogs' diets. The odour of this product was not very pleasant and it's texture reminded us of a sloppy version of the fish paste spreads you put on sandwiches, the ones they used to serve on the airplanes that nobody wanted to eat. Our dogs get quite a varied diet, so are used to a variety of flavours, but this product was a SOLID REJECTION from both of them.

Happy dog
My dog loved this food! I introduced it to him slowly and was very happy that it didn't upset his sensitive tummy. He loved the taste. 1 can wasn't enough to determine any huge weight loss but he did lose a few grams. (He's a smallish dog.) He very happily ate it.
